Software Engineer I A - GBS IND

Overview

Support the development, maintenance and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines for AuthHub applications within the Client Facing Platform Technology team, working on DevOps activities under the guidance of senior engineers and technical leads.

What you'll do

• Support the AuthHub CI/CD pipelines, including routine maintenance, enhancements and troubleshooting.
• Develop and deliver assigned DevOps tasks and automation with guidance from senior team members.
• Work with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, XLR and related technologies.
• Assist in automating build, deployment, configuration and operational activities to improve delivery efficiency.
• Follow enterprise standards for solution implementation, scripting/coding, security and quality.
• Support application deployments and help ensure solutions meet defined acceptance criteria and quality standards.
• Assist with security, compliance, vulnerability remediation and audit-related activities at the team level.
• Participate in investigating and resolving production, deployment and environment issues in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Work closely with onsite and cross-functional teams on feature grooming, story grooming, delivery planning and regular status updates.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation for pipelines, automation, configurations and operational procedures.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement and implement them with guidance from experienced team members.

What you'll need

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization).
• 4 to 7 years of experience in DevOps.
• At least 4+ years of experience in development and delivery.
• Broad knowledge in banking technologies.
• Good depth of knowledge of authentication omni-channels and Java authentication frameworks.
• Understanding of OO design and good programming skills with DB/Java/other emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with development tools Bitbucket, Maven, Eclipse or similar tools.
• Experience working with the global delivery model.
• Accountable for team/program level resource and financial management; builds and maintains teams through talent acquisition.
• Sets maturity objectives and enables individuals/teams with training and resources to achieve them; sets and tracks quality and performance objectives.
