Software Engineer II (Colombia)

Overview

Software Engineer II role for a full-stack team in Colombia with remote work. You’ll design and deliver new features while collaborating on architecture, code quality, and scalable solutions.

What you'll do

• Partner with other engineers to design, develop, and deliver new product features.
• Build and maintain product features with a focus on learning new areas of the product.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions and share ideas for next-generation features.
• Continuously build and deploy scalable solutions with the team.
• Contribute to code reviews and use the codebase hands-on.
• Mentor other engineers and help with planning, estimations, and project completion.

What you'll need

• 3–7 years of experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
• Frontend familiarity with React experience preferred.
• Backend problem-solving experience using Go or a similar compiled statically typed language.
• Intermediate understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
• Comfort leveraging AI/large language model tools (Claude or equivalent) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Compensation: $2,800–$6,000 per month (gross in USD).
