Software Engineer II (Golang)

Overview

Software Engineer II focused on building and scaling Foundation Platform services using Golang.

What you'll do

• Design and develop shared platform capabilities using Golang services.
• Estimate effort and participate in Agile ceremonies including design/code reviews.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies into existing and new frameworks/solutions.
• Improve code quality and work on non-functional requirements like performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer issues.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of Golang backend development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
• Good understanding of design patterns with hands-on ability to apply them.
• Understanding and experience with databases including MongoDB and Postgres.
• Comfort with Agile and scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and microservices architecture (highly desirable).
