What you'll do

• Assist with the design, development, and installation of software solutions.
• Write code and document software functionality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the software development lifecycle.
• Use accounting background to identify gaps and improve automation and reconciliation workflows.
• Provide support and consulting on software systems usage.

What you'll need

• 3–7 years of experience for this mid-level development role.
• Prior experience as an accountant or financial analyst.
• Solid understanding of financial operations including reconciliation, reporting, and compliance.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Go) and familiarity with databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with backend API development and relational database storage/retrieval.
• Comfort leveraging AI tools, with demonstrated experience working with Claude or an equivalent LLM tool.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
