Software Engineer III, ITC

Overview

Software Engineer III role within Nike’s Global Technology organization, working on internal Consumer Product & Innovation software tools.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and operate scalable software solutions for the design and creation community.
• Build responsive, accessible, high-performance web experiences using modern front-end technologies.
• Build and integrate cloud-native platforms, applications, APIs, and services via an API-first approach.
• Translate business and product needs into technical solutions and implementation plans.
• Lead technical design discussions and influence architecture decisions.
• Support the full software development lifecycle including testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Improve usability, performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on industry software development experience.
• Experience with modern architectures such as REST, domain-driven design, and microservices.
• Demonstrated expertise in Node.js, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience building cloud-native distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, and S3.
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud architecture.
• Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and computer science fundamentals.
