Software Engineer(Intern)- Backend

Overview

Intern backend Software Engineer role focused on building and maintaining backend services and REST APIs.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs.
• Write efficient queries and manage data models in PostgreSQL.
• Use Redis for caching, queues, and improving service performance.
• Collaborate with frontend and QA engineers to ship end-to-end features.
• Write clean, tested, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and optimize existing services for performance and scale.

What you'll need

• Strong fundamentals in Python and object-oriented programming.
• Understanding of Django/FastAPI or another Python web framework.
• Working knowledge of relational databases with PostgreSQL preferred.
• Basic understanding of caching concepts and Redis.
• Understanding of REST API design principles.
• Strong problem-solving with DSA fundamentals (arrays, trees, graphs, hashing).
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control workflows.

Nice to have

• Exposure to tools like ClickHouse.
