Software Engineer Intern (January 12th start, 23 weeks)

Overview

Software Engineer Intern for a 6-month internship starting January 12th, 2027, focused on designing, developing, deploying, and operating software solutions for real-time, low-latency communications capabilities.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, deploy, and operate software solutions for next-generation communications.
• Ship many different projects during the 6-month internship.
• Work on core features and services that ship to users.
• Learn from engineers working on distributed computing and real-time DSP/audio processing.
• Improve coding skills using issue-tracking, source control, and agile practices.
• Participate in code reviews, bug tracking, and project management.

What you'll need

• Be working toward a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or a related degree.
• Have a keen interest in software development with several side projects (and possibly open source contributions).
• Demonstrate a “can do” spirit and interest in learning new technologies.
• Have explored writing code in one or more languages: Python, Java, Javascript, PHP, C, or C++.

Details

• Internship duration: 23 weeks (6 months), starting January 12th, 2027.
• Work mode: Remote (based in India) and must be located in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, or Delhi during the internship.
• Ad-hoc in-person reporting may be required for team gatherings, off-sites, or customer meetings.
