Software Engineer - Java Backend Azura

Overview

HARMAN is looking for an experienced Java Backend Lead to lead backend development, deliver high-performance backend systems, and drive technical decisions.

What you'll do

• Lead the backend development team and drive technical decisions.
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java.
• Mentor and guide team members to improve skills and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps).
• Ensure best practices, code quality, and technical debt management.
• Drive innovation and improvements in backend systems.

What you'll need

• 3-6 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and microservices architecture.
• Experience leading teams and driving technical decisions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with reactive programming (Reactor, Akka).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka).

Details

• Expected to work all 5 days in a week in office.
