Software Engineer(Java Developer)

Overview

Software Engineer (Java Developer) responsible for designing, building, delivering, and maintaining next-generation platform solutions across software applications and platforms.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with software developers and imaging teams to implement aligned solutions.
• Apply Agile SDLC practices and software/product security, scalability, documentation, refactoring, and testing.
• Write code meeting standards to deliver required functionality using the selected project technology.
• Build common microservices for a Healthcare Imaging platform using a microservices architecture.
• Participate in grooming, PI planning, sprint reviews, and demos.
• Assess technical feasibility and share outcomes to support technology decisions.
• Assess performance parameters and address security issues.

What you'll need

• Minimum of 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes or Docker.
• Familiarity with HELM charts, YAML, Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting.
• REST-based microservice development using Java.
• DICOM experience.
• BDD-based automated testing using Cucumber.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM majors; master’s degree in Computer Science/Math or related field.
