Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer role at Wells Fargo to work on low to moderately complex technology initiatives, including installation, upgrades, and deployments.

What you'll do

• Participate in installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts for technology domain projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality and availability.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document low to moderately complex projects and programs.
• Review and analyze technical assignments for low to medium risk deliverables, including research and evaluation.
• Recommend resolutions for issues and escalate as needed to meet service level agreements.
• Exercise independent judgment aligned with security and compliance requirements.
• Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent via work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• Experience in cloud native micro service application development (1+ years desired).
• 1+ year of experience developing automated functional testing using BDD (desired).
• Spring Boot application development experience (desired).
• Agile development methodologies experience (desired).
• Hibernate experience (desired).
• MongoDB or related NoSQL database experience; and Oracle SQL experience (desired).
