Software Engineer - Kubernetes (K8s) Go (Golang) Python Microservices,Linux,AI-assisted development - 8 to 10 years

Overview

Software engineer role on the Nexus Dashboard infrastructure team, building and operating a Kubernetes-based microservices platform for data center automation, reliability, security, and lifecycle management.

What you'll do

• Architect and maintain the core Kubernetes-based infrastructure platform.
• Oversee multi-node cluster deployment, configuration, and inline software upgrades.
• Develop and support reliability and observability services such as backup/restore, anomaly detection, and audit logging.
• Implement security and identity infrastructure for centralized AAA and certificate lifecycle management.
• Optimize scalability and resource efficiency with cross-functional engineering teams.

What you'll need

• Have Bachelors with 8+ years related experience or Masters with +4 years related experience.
• Program in Go and Python and use AI-assisted development tools for writing, testing, and optimizing code.
• Have experience with rapid prototyping of AI solutions and AI workflow/agent engineering.
• Develop, deploy, and manage microservices on Kubernetes-based orchestration platforms.
• Design and implement robust test plans for software quality and coverage.
• Demonstrate solid computer science fundamentals and willingness to learn new technologies.

Nice to have

• Be proficient in Linux system internals, including process management, file systems, and networking.
• Understand distributed databases and messaging systems such as PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and Kafka.
• Have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
