Software Engineer Senior(Snowflake, DBT)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer focused on designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and analytics-ready data models using Snowflake, dbt, Astronomer/Airflow, Python, and SQL.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain batch or near-real-time data pipelines.
• Build ELT workflows, reusable dbt models, and automated data quality checks.
• Develop and optimize Snowflake models, warehouses, schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Orchestrate and troubleshoot workflows using Astronomer/Airflow.
• Write Python and SQL for ingestion, transformation, validation, automation, and performance tuning.
• Apply version control, testing, documentation, CI/CD readiness, and peer reviews.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, lineage, observability, and operational reliability.

What you'll need

• Hands-on experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and pipeline orchestration.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience, including data modeling, optimization, warehouse management, and secure access.
• Practical dbt experience with transformations, dependencies, testing, documentation, and deployment workflows.
• Astronomer/Airflow experience with DAGs, scheduling, monitoring, retries, alerting, and production support.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, metadata, lineage, security controls, and enterprise data engineering standards.
