Software Engineer - SRE

Overview

Software Engineer - SRE responsible for designing, building, and operating reliable, scalable, and secure cloud and data platforms at multi-region scale.

What you'll do

• Design and optimize cloud and data infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, error budgets, and fault analysis.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analyses.
• Lead architectural vision, technical strategy, and roadmap development.
• Mentor engineers and promote operational excellence.
• Build software and systems automation for enterprise-scale deployments.
• Collaborate with customers, engineering, product, and security teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• 8–14+ years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, networking, security, or CI/CD.
• Infrastructure as Code skills, ideally with Terraform and EKS or Kubernetes.
• Experience with observability tools including Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, or ELK.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience managing cloud-based data platforms at scale.
• Cloud or security certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
