Software Engineer - SRE (Rust)

Overview

Software Engineer - SRE (Rust) role focused on acquiring product requirements, designing solutions, and owning infrastructure/deployment and monitoring end-to-end.

What you'll do

• Acquire product requirements and design an optimal solution with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain in-house cloud architecture components.
• Handle procurement, provisioning, patching, migration, and retirement of instances.
• Own implemented solutions end-to-end from inception to deployment and monitoring.
• Identify company-wide infrastructure problems and provide scalable solutions.
• Measure and increase compliance of solutions.
• Apply a DevOps mindset to implementations.

What you'll need

• Have 4+ years of software development experience.
• Have experience with or knowledge of operating systems.
• Be proficient in Rust and Go or Python.
• Have good networking fundamentals/system knowledge.
• Have exposure to open source technologies.
• Have knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Have awareness of cloud technologies.
