Overview
Software Engineer (UI) role focused on building and maintaining infrastructure/platform capabilities that support applications and data systems.
What you'll do
- Develop, deliver, and maintain infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.
- Monitor IT infrastructure and system performance to identify and resolve issues, vulnerabilities, or outages.
- Build and implement automated tasks/processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Implement secure configurations and measures to protect infrastructure from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, architects, and engineers to define requirements and integrate solutions.
- Stay informed about industry technology trends and contribute to technology communities.
What you'll need
- Strong hands-on React.js experience for scalable, responsive enterprise web applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, LESS, and Bootstrap.
- Experience developing reusable UI components and using state management/component-based architectures.
- Strong understanding of frontend design patterns, object-oriented concepts, and secure coding practices.
- Experience integrating frontend apps with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Hands-on Node.js experience and frontend testing with Jest.
- Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum with Jira.
Nice to have
- Experience with React Native.
- Exposure to AWS/Azure/BCP.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Knowledge of Micro Frontend Architecture and modern frontend engineering practices.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, UI performance optimization, and frontend security best practices.
- Exposure to automated UI testing frameworks and quality engineering practices.
- Experience in banking/wealth management/financial services domains.
