Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

Overview

Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a frontend-focused mandate to build fast, accessible, scalable, and intuitive web applications, translating business needs into strong UX.

What you'll do

• Build modular, reusable, high-performance UI components using ReactJS and/or EmberJS.
• Design and implement responsive, accessible, intuitive interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend practices.
• Own frontend architecture, performance optimization, rendering efficiency, and maintainability.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services using Ruby on Rails or Java.
• Contribute to backend development, service integrations, and databases across the stack.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex frontend and full-stack issues.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, SRE, and other engineering teams; participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on frontend experience; meaningful exposure to backend engineering.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with modern frontend development.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS (EmberJS is noted as an advantage).
• Good understanding of component-based development, state management, responsive design, and browser fundamentals.
• Good working experience with Ruby on Rails or Java for backend services and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with relational databases and familiarity with caching and distributed queues.

Nice to have

• Experience with EmberJS.
