Software Engineer, VP

Overview

Software Engineer (VP) role focused on designing, producing, testing, and implementing working software across the system lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Design, produce, test, and implement working software across the system lifecycle.
• Apply Agile methods to software development on the backlog.
• Develop resilient, long-lived software and adapt to future needs.
• Deliver architecture and formulate emergent designs using experimentation and prototyping.
• Design and develop software to automate build, test, and deployment activities.
• Work with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to understand platform behavior and support business objectives.

What you'll need

• Strong full stack experience in software design and implementation.
• Ability to exploit programming languages to solve complex problems.
• Capability for complex requirements analysis, capture, and validation.
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python or Java (Python/Java preferred).
• Experience building production APIs/services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containers and working with databases such as PostgreSQL or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, or Grafana.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for complex technical concepts.
