Software Engineering, LMTS (Backend + Infra)

Overview

Lead Software Engineer responsible for building scalable backend and infrastructure components for distributed filesystems and cloud SaaS products.

What you'll do

• Build distributed filesystem components and frameworks for scale and efficiency.
• Design production-ready code for a cloud platform.
• Develop microservice components and algorithms in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• Lead requirements gathering, roadmap definition, partner coordination, and team execution.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and provide technical guidance.
• Resolve complex technical issues and improve scalability, robustness, and availability.
• Participate in on-call support and maintain technical documentation.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Mastery of systems design and programming languages or platforms.
• Deep knowledge of distributed filesystem design across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Strong Java, Python, SQL, and relational or non-relational database experience.
• Experience developing SaaS products on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience designing distributed systems at scale.
• Demonstrated leadership and software development best-practice knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience with Big Data, ML, and S3.
• Hands-on Kafka experience.
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, or Docker.
• Experience in a rapidly growing multinational organization.

• Hybrid work model with telecommuting available.
• Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
