Overview

Hands-on Engineering Manager role focused on leading engineering teams while providing technical direction and championing AI-first software development.

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership and guide complex architecture decisions.
• Design, develop, and scale high-performance systems using appropriate architectural patterns.
• Translate product and business requirements into technical plans and execution strategies.
• Establish and drive AI-first development practices across the software lifecycle.
• Lead engineering delivery toward predictable, high-quality outcomes using improved development practices and metrics.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Architecture, DevOps, Security, and Data teams to deliver capabilities.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of strong software engineering experience with technical leadership and team/initiative leadership.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, and distributed systems.
• Experience leading engineers while maintaining technical credibility.
• Strong communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Passion for improving productivity and developer experience, particularly through AI and automation.
