Software Engineering Manager

Overview

Manage software engineering for Analytics and AI solutions, contributing to product implementation while guiding technical direction and team delivery.

What you'll do

• Lead technical direction for applications, architectures, and development processes.
• Design and build scalable analytics applications and complex features.
• Coach and mentor a cross-functional engineering team.
• Partner with product managers and customer experience designers on roadmaps and releases.
• Collaborate across teams to solve technical problems and align delivery.
• Champion agile practices, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of engineering experience in an agile production environment.
• Experience leading complex full-stack feature design and implementation.
• Proficiency in object-oriented languages, preferably Java/Spring or alternatively C#.
• Experience with React, Redux, TypeScript, Git, and Jenkins.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON/SOAP, SQL, multithreading, and message queuing.
• Experience building production-level data-driven applications, pipelines, or machine learning systems at scale.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Python or Scala and Hadoop platforms.
• Experience with cloud-native microservices, Kafka, and Zookeeper.
• Knowledge of application security, automated testing, and monitoring tools such as Splunk.
