Software Engineering Senior Manager - Salesforce & AI

Overview

Senior Manager role providing strategic technology leadership across the Business Banking Technology portfolio, supporting lending products and modernization initiatives.

What you'll do

• Manage, coach, and develop teams of experienced engineers and engineering managers.
• Ensure adherence to Banking Platform Architecture and non-functional requirements per release.
• Partner with architects and engineers to incorporate technology strategies and enable application migration paths.
• Drive escalated resolution of technology roadblocks across code, build, and deployment while managing the software development cycle and security standards.
• Lead engineering excellence via peer reviews, security/stability/scalability responsibilities, and risk identification, management, and mitigation.
• Collaborate with Product Managers/Product Owners to influence technology requirements and product roadmap priorities.
• Interact with third-party vendors and manage allocation of people and financial resources; oversee hiring and performance management.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience (or equivalent via work experience, training, military experience, or education).
• 3+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of software engineering, cloud technologies, modern application architectures, Agile delivery, security controls, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with Salesforce nCino Lending Platforms and data/platform modernization and transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience with Generative AI/LLMs, AI-assisted development platforms, and AI governance.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
