Software Engineering Specialist- Python Fullstack

Overview

Build and maintain scalable full-stack features across the frontend UI and Python backend of an enterprise SaaS platform. Own end-to-end delivery from user-facing functionality and API design through backend logic, data access, testing, and deployment support.

What you'll do

• Build, maintain, and enhance end-to-end product features across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Develop robust, reusable, and maintainable UI components using modern frontend technologies, preferably Angular.
• Develop backend services and APIs in Python, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Design, build, and optimize REST APIs for internal and external product integrations.
• Translate product and technical requirements into high-quality, production-ready software solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code that adheres to engineering standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests to improve reliability and reduce regression risk.
• Troubleshoot application issues across the full stack and support root cause analysis for defects and production issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows, build pipelines, and deployment readiness activities.
• Work closely with senior engineers, product managers, QA, and cross-functional partners to deliver roadmap commitments.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and Agile delivery processes using Azure DevOps.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code responsibly to improve productivity in coding, refactoring, documentation, and testing workflows.
• Perform requirement analysis, documentation/procedures, and implementation.

What you'll need

• 1 to 2 years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack product development environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend and UI development, preferably Angular, including component-based architecture, TypeScript, and responsive web development.
• Strong proficiency in Python backend development, with hands-on experience building and maintaining production-grade services or APIs.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data access patterns.
• Hands-on experience writing unit and integration tests as part of standard development practice.
• Familiarity with software design principles, code modularity, and maintainable application architecture.
• Experience working with Git-based version control in collaborative development environments.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum delivery teams using tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, and the ability to use them effectively in development workflows.
• Angular preferred, React or Vue also considered.
• TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Python as the primary backend technology.
• REST APIs.
• SQL and relational databases are must-have; working knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• AWS fundamentals, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Git and Azure DevOps.
• Unit testing and integration testing, with exposure to Selenium or similar UI automation tools.
• Strong ownership and the ability to deliver features with limited supervision.
• Ability to write high-quality, maintainable code and take testing seriously as part of engineering discipline.
• Ability to work across multiple layers of the application stack rather than specializing narrowly in only frontend or backend.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Openness to feedback, continuous learning, and adoption of modern development practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular in enterprise-scale applications.
• Exposure to Java backend development.
• Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, or API Gateway.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized application development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and deployment workflows.
• Exposure to automated UI testing tools such as Selenium.
• Experience developing software in enterprise SaaS, B2B, or cloud-native product environments.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, performance optimization, and production support expectations.
• Interest in growing into a senior full-stack, technical lead, or architecture-focused role.
