Overview

Technical Lead role for developing and evolving forwarding and platform software for SD-WAN and edge routing solutions.

What you'll do

• Collaborate on hardware-software integration to bring up new platforms and integrate network interface modules.
• Design, implement, and maintain ROMMON and bootloader software for secure, reliable initialization.
• Develop and tune high-performance forwarding plane software for secure routing environments.
• Debug performance bottlenecks across kernel and hardware-abstraction layers, including the control plane.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools and IDEs to accelerate the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and related teams.
• Mentor engineers and foster technical leadership.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of industry experience in end-to-end networking software development.
• Experience across networking system software including kernel/user-space drivers and boot loaders.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ for systems programming in Linux environments.
• Experience developing device drivers and working with RTOS/Linux kernels.
• Solid understanding of routing architectures and hardware-software interfaces.
• Experience with boot loaders (ROMMON), hardware bring-up, and board support packages (BSP).
• Ability to debug complex issues across hardware, firmware, and software layers.
