Software specialist

Overview

Software specialist responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining ALM products in Pune. The role includes creating new features using modern UI/UX concepts and providing technical leadership on projects.

What you'll do

• Prepare functional specifications, design notes, and work estimates.
• Lead architecture, design, development, and coordination of software projects.
• Develop documented, performant code and iterative prototypes.
• Conduct and participate in design and code reviews.
• Create unit tests and automated tests for QA regression testing.
• Test software across multiple configurations.
• Provide technical information and support to QA, publications, customers, and team members.

What you'll need

• Mid-level software development experience.
• Strong project or program management experience in software.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and process improvement.
• Experience with Java, OData, REST, JSP, and Oracle or PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, ExtJS, and Angular.
• Ability to apply disciplined software development practices and technical judgment.
