Software Specialist ( Java Developer)

Overview

Software Specialist (Java Developer) for the ALM, Pune team, developing and maintaining multiple products within the ALM Portfolio.

What you'll do

• Lead architecture, design, development, and coordination of software development projects and work teams.
• Provide technical and project management support to project team members.
• Prepare functional specifications including detailed feature/functionality descriptions and related assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.
• Schedule, conduct, and participate in design reviews; prepare design notes per group standards.
• Develop iterative prototypes when appropriate and act as technical lead on projects.
• Prepare code and unit tests, solicit and participate in code reviews, and deliver automated tests to QA.

What you'll need

• Mid-experience level software development background (no years specified).
• Java experience.
• Experience with ODATA and REST.
• JSP experience.
• Database experience with Oracle and Postgres.
• JavaScript, jQuery, ExtJS, and Angular experience.
