Lead Engineer, VP- Java

Overview

Lead Engineer (VP), Java for high-quality technology solutions in the Accounting domain. You will lead analysis, design, reviews, coding, and release activities while driving engineering practices and AI adoption.

What you'll do

• Lead hands-on engineering across analysis and design activities.
• Perform design/code reviews and coding for releases.
• Champion engineering best practices and mentor/guide the team.
• Acquire functional knowledge of digitized/re-engineered business capabilities.
• Drive AI adoption for SDLC and solve business problems using AI.

What you'll need

• Have a minimum of 14 years of IT industry experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java and full-stack development.
• Deep knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and ReactJS.
• Experience with databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL plus data modeling and performance optimization.
• Hands-on cloud experience (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable) and containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) focused on automation and reliability.
