Software Validation Engineer (Python)

Overview

Software Validation Engineer (Python) to build automated testing frameworks and validation infrastructure for embedded systems, including networking and AI/ML related testing.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated validation frameworks using Python.
• Interface Python test scripts with microcontrollers using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
• Validate networking protocols and analyze traffic down to the frame level.
• Support ML model training/validation/testing infrastructure at scale.
• Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins for continuous integration and automated test execution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define test strategies and write technical documentation.

What you'll need

• 5-10 years of experience (as stated in the posting).
• Strong proficiency in Python, including OOP design patterns.
• Demonstrated experience with asynchronous programming and multithreading.
• Networking knowledge including Ethernet frame structures and VLAN tagging.
• Hands-on experience with embedded protocols such as CAN or Modbus and/or HIL testing.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts including regression models and predictive analytics.
• Strong experience with Jenkins pipelines, Git, and Docker.
