Solution Architect

Overview

As a Solution Architect, you will be the critical link between customers and the engineering team, helping customers build AI-powered data platforms on Databricks and shaping Altimate AI's product direction.

What you'll do

• Deliver compelling technical demos and architecture discussions showcasing the value of Databricks-based solutions.
• Design and execute proof-of-concepts on Databricks, demonstrating clear technical and business value.
• Guide customers in building scalable pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, and lakehouse best practices.
• Partner closely with customers to ensure smooth implementation, strong adoption, and fast time-to-value.
• Support customers in optimizing their data platform, identifying expansion opportunities, and driving deeper usage as a trusted technical advisor.
• Translate customer feedback and ecosystem trends into product improvements and technical direction.

What you'll need

• 6+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solution Architect, Data Engineer, Consultant, or Professional Services Engineer within the data ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and modern lakehouse architecture.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud data platforms.
• Able to translate complex architectures into clear, impactful narratives for technical and business audiences.
• Proactive, ownership-driven builder mindset, comfortable working in fast-moving startup environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt.
• Experience working in early-stage or high-growth companies.
