Solution Architect, AVP

Overview

Assistant Vice President role for a Solution Architect within an enterprise architecture team, focused on designing secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions and leading cloud migration strategies.

What you'll do

• Design and document new secure, scalable, cost-effective solution architectures.
• Review and enhance existing architectures to identify security and performance gaps.
• Lead cloud migration assessments, define migration roadmaps, and design hybrid/multi-cloud solutions.
• Embed security-by-design, conduct threat modeling, and define countermeasures.
• Design secure API, data exchange, and application integration patterns.
• Support DevSecOps continuous compliance in CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in architecture review boards and obtain approvals.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 10+ years in IT with at least 5 years in solution architecture with security and application architecture responsibilities.
• Deep knowledge of architecture and design principles for on-prem and cloud-native solutions.
• Strong cloud platform knowledge and cloud migration strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in IAM, PKI, encryption, network security, API security, and DevSecOps.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
