Solution Architect

Overview

Solution architect for Airbus India in Bangalore, supporting the “Digital Archiving” initiative and modernizing the Long Term Archiving (LTA) solution landscape.

What you'll do

• Own architecture work across the full delivery lifecycle, including designing, implementing, testing, documenting, supporting, and operating libraries & frameworks.
• Design solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements at scale.
• Coordinate functional and technical integration and review application requirements and interface designs.
• Evaluate the technology environment (including security risks) and participate in technology selection.
• Analyze and address complex, undefined technical problems and help manage technical debt with stakeholders.
• Lead design/development/testing contributions, collaborate with developers, and support resolution of platform issues.
• Mentor junior developers and set up code review best practices.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software development experience (Java development; JDK 8+ preferred).
• Strong experience with the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in Java and related ecosystem (including Springboot, Hibernate, Maven, and Spring test/automation tools).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps pipeline and routines.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP-based services, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies: React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Travel for business in Europe is required.
