Manager, Software Engineering (Fullstack Team)

Overview

Engineering Manager for a full-stack team building next-generation service level management at scale.

What you'll do

• Lead a full-stack engineering team of 6–8 across backend and frontend.
• Set expectations, manage performance, and develop engineers at every level.
• Partner with Product Manager and XD to translate requirements into technical plans.
• Drive architectural discussions and uphold engineering excellence standards.
• Identify and remove blockers; surface risks early.

What you'll need

• 10+ years engineering experience.
• 2+ years managing engineering teams.
• Experience managing senior individual contributors (P4/Staff) through coaching and feedback.
• Strong backend technical foundation in Java/Spring Boot (or equivalent).
• Proven delivery of complex projects on time with high quality.
• Experience with performance management and escalating documented issues when needed.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and microservices.
