Overview

Fortinet pre-sales and product technical specialist role focused on technical pre-sales, partner enablement, and customer engagement across the Fortinet portfolio.

What you'll do

• Act as a technical SME for the Fortinet security portfolio including FortiGate, FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer, and related products.
• Support pre-sales through requirement gathering, technical discovery, and solution architecture/design.
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and POCs, and assist with RFP/RFI responses.
• Create BOMs and provide guidance on solution sizing, licensing, and subscriptions.
• Engage distribution-managed partners, system integrators, and enterprise customers during the sales lifecycle.
• Run partner training, support onboarding, and help partners prepare for Fortinet NSE certifications.

What you'll need

• 8–10 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, network/security consulting, or solution engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet security solutions, especially FortiGate.
• Solid understanding of network security concepts (Firewall, VPN, IPS, Web Filtering).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and Linux basics.
• Cloud security knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP) is preferred.
• Fortinet NSE 1–NSE 7, with at least NSE 4/5 preferred; Fast Track certification specified.
• Presentation and communication skills to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
