Solutions Architect - Presales

Overview

Solutions Architect - Presales responsible for designing and presenting Cisco-based solutions and supporting sales, partners, and customers through the presales process.

What you'll do

• Understand customer requirements with sales teams and propose Cisco solutions.
• Design solutions, create bills of materials, and prepare proposal documentation.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
• Conduct partner training sessions and workshops on Cisco technologies.
• Support deal registrations, pricing, and solution validation with Cisco account teams.
• Prepare accurate technical responses for RFPs and RFIs.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in existing accounts.

What you'll need

• 3–8 years of experience in presales, network engineering, or solution architecture.
• Mandatory experience with the Cisco product portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching, security, wireless, collaboration, and data center technologies.
• Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and networking concepts.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to design scalable and cost-effective solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with system integrators, distributors, or OEMs.
• CCNA certification.
• CCNP certification.
• Cisco Specialist certification in security, collaboration, or data center technologies.
