Solutions Architect - Presales | Vertiv

Overview

Design, position, and present end-to-end infrastructure and enterprise technology solutions in a pre-sales consulting role. The role covers data centre power, cooling, UPS, racks, monitoring, digital signage, displays, and collaboration solutions.

What you'll do

• Design end-to-end solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare technical architectures, solution sizing documents, and bills of materials.
• Conduct site assessments and infrastructure audits.
• Participate in customer meetings, workshops, presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Prepare technical proposals, compliance statements, and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Coordinate with OEMs and distributors for pricing, validation, approvals, and escalations.
• Support opportunity qualification, cost optimization, competitive positioning, and technical negotiations.

What you'll need

• 5–12 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical sales.
• Experience with system integrators, OEMs, IT infrastructure providers, or data centre solutions organizations.
• Knowledge of Vertiv solutions, including Liebert UPS, precision cooling, SmartAisle, monitoring, racks, and edge data centres.
• Knowledge of APC Schneider Electric solutions, including Galaxy UPS, Easy UPS, NetShelter, EcoStruxure DCIM, cooling, and PDUs.
• Knowledge of Samsung enterprise solutions, including digital signage, displays, video walls, LED signage, and collaboration displays.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in ECE, EEE, E&I, IT, or Computer Science.
• Strong customer engagement, solution architecture, technical presentation, proposal writing, and stakeholder management skills.
