Solutions Engineer

Overview

Solutions Engineer to support the technical side of the sales process. You will run discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements to demonstrate customer value.

What you'll do

• Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer needs.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept guidance.
• Explain product capabilities clearly to customers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and internal teams to align technical and sales objectives.
• Assist with RFP/RFI responses.
• Provide technical support and guidance to channel partners.
• Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and customer seminars.

What you'll need

• 2+ years in pre-sales engineering or technical support roles in PAM, identity security, or similar enterprise applications.
• 3+ years working with global software vendors.
• Experience presenting technical solutions and differentiating products vs competitors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, SQL, VMware, and Hyper-V.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including conference/trade show presenting experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Nice to have

• Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CEH, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and environments.
• Experience with BeyondTrust solutions or similar technologies.
