Overview

Principal Solutions Engineer, AI Agent acts as the dedicated AI Agent expert for Cresta, engaging early in the sales cycle to drive and support AI Agent opportunities.

What you'll do

• Serve as the go-to internal and external expert on Cresta’s AI Agent capabilities.
• Partner with Core Solutions Engineers, owning the AI Agent technical narrative end-to-end.
• Lead technical discovery workshops to explore AI Agent use cases and define implementation scope.
• Run deep-dive sessions to surface, propose, and refine AI Agent use cases and evaluate API feasibility.
• Own complex, high-stakes AI Agent demos in partnership with Core SEs.
• Build the business case by translating AI Agent solutions into financial ROI models with Sales Directors.
• Close the product feedback loop by synthesizing opportunity patterns into feedback for Product and Engineering.

What you'll need

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
• At least 1–3 years in pre-sales selling to large enterprises.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, or selling AI Agents or agentic AI systems.
• Practical understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and enterprise system connections to AI Agent workflows.
• Experience with Conversational AI, contact center platforms, or voice/chat automation technologies.
• Ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to write Python for prototyping, scripting, or demo customization (plus).
