Solutions Engineer (Manufacturing) - US Shift

Overview

Solutions Engineer (Manufacturing) responsible for bridging customer requirements with practical manufacturing solutions through accurate quoting, DFM review, and technical support.

What you'll do

• Provide precise cost estimates for CNC machining and other manufacturing processes.
• Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturability) analysis to highlight risks and suggest design changes.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and material requirements to ensure feasibility.
• Engage customers to clarify requirements, resolve technical questions, and provide transparent guidance.
• Streamline quoting workflows by standardizing processes and reducing manual touchpoints.
• Identify and mitigate risks across sourcing, tolerances, and production feasibility with cross-functional teams.

What you'll need

• 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical training is required.
• Knowledge and understanding of GD&T and coordinate tolerancing is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
• CNC machining and 3D printing experience is a must.
• Detail orientation and an inclination for documentation are required.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and complete work without active supervision is required.
• Understanding manufacturability and limitations of common metals and plastics is required.
