Solutions Engineer II

Overview

The Solutions Engineer is a sales and technical role supporting Enterprise, FSI, IT and ITES customers and partners. The role supports the sales team with technical expertise and proposes F5 solutions that address customers' technical and business challenges.

What you'll do

• Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging and positioning, and F5's value proposition and solutions for customer business objectives.
• Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, solution demonstrations and proof of concepts using in-person or virtual presentations, whiteboards and other mediums.
• Determine opportunity viability and map the organisational structure.
• Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager by identifying the Technical Decision Maker and obtaining their technical validation, support and sponsorship.
• Provide world-class customer service through the customer life cycle.
• Work collaboratively with internal technical and sales resources, share best practices and updates, and offer and seek expertise as needed across opportunities.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of related industry experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience in secure cloud architectures.
• Experience with public and private cloud vendors and automation toolsets.
• Experience with multi-cloud design.
• Proficiency in AI architectures and security.
• Experience with container orchestration solutions such as OpenShift and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Familiarity or experience with F5 or similar industry solution deployment.
• Relevant certifications.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages.
