Solutions Engineer, Okta

Overview

Solutions Engineer (Presales) supporting customers’ sales journeys with identity and security solutions.

What you'll do

• Support customers along their sales journey through live demonstrations and sales presentations.
• Present and sell to IT managers, developers, product managers, and occasionally senior executives.
• Model how Okta Workforce Identity solutions fit customers’ architecture requirements and use cases.
• Execute well-defined, outcome-focused POCs.
• Maintain technical understanding of the Okta product line and underlying technologies and protocols.
• Occasionally participate in local and regional events as a presenter and attendee.

What you'll need

• Ability to work in the EST Time Zone.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in IAM or a related SaaS field as a pre-sales engineer.
• Expertise or hands-on experience in IAM and related areas (preferred).
• Experience working with REST APIs and SDKs.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas using white-boarding, examples, and product demonstrations.
• Experience in a customer-facing role such as consulting, customer support, or pre-sales.
