SOX Senior IT Auditor

Overview

SOX Senior IT Auditor to support the execution of Okta’s global SOX program within the internal audit team.

What you'll do

• Perform SOX IT general control and application control walkthroughs and testing for financial reporting internal controls.
• Follow the SOX methodology and execute with limited guidance.
• Lead SOX IT auditors and support their knowledge and development.
• Identify systemic causes of control breakdowns and related technical gaps.
• Review staff auditor work products and provide actionable feedback.
• Recommend corrective actions and align on root causes with stakeholders.
• Assist internal audit with risk-based operational audits.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience in Big Four and/or internal audit with a publicly traded company.
• BA/BS degree in accounting, finance or a similar discipline.
• Knowledge of SOX, US GAAP, and SEC regulations.
• Experience overseeing staff and reviewing their work product.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating SOX processes and controls across business process controls.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong English proficiency (verbal and written).
