Overview

Operational Risk Manager for DBS Consumer Banking (CBG) in India, owning the governance & controls framework across products, channels, and services and steering operational risk management activities.

What you'll do

• Own operational risk governance and controls across CBG products, channels, and services.
• Ensure regulatory and control requirements are implemented and reported on time.
• Act as CBG Unit Operations Risk Manager and facilitate risk governance forums and committees.
• Develop and oversee operational risk policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Coordinate audit and regulatory inspections to support compliance.
• Analyze and report operational risk events, loss trends, and root causes to relevant committees.
• Monitor KRIs to identify and address emerging risks and maintain risk posture.

What you'll need

• Minimum 4 to 8 years’ experience in banking, especially operational risk management and business risk controls.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Understanding of country regulations in consumer/retail banking.
• Proficiency in data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks.
• Knowledge of digital lending processes and basic AI use.
