KYC - Executive Director - Operations

Overview

Executive Director to lead KYC Refresh Governance within Operations in Mumbai, with responsibility for first-line oversight and execution governance across KYC Refresh and related activities.

What you'll do

• Lead a global governance function for execution oversight, risk transparency, and delivery discipline across KYC Refresh and EDR.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and target deadlines and act as a senior escalation point for delivery risk.
• Oversee global governance reporting, including daily reporting, weekly metrics packs, dashboards, and senior submissions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to drive aligned decision-making and timely resolution of execution risks.
• Shape and continuously improve the KYC Refresh governance model, including planning, reporting standards, metrics, and early-warning indicators.
• Provide senior challenge and remediation oversight to meet regulatory commitments in a controlled and timely manner.

What you'll need

• Ability to interpret, challenge, and synthesize complex operational data for senior decision-making.
• Proven ability to lead global or regional operations teams in a complex, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong first-line risk and control judgement to identify systemic issues and drive remediation.
• Experience translating operational data, production metrics, throughput trends, and capacity forecasts into insights and risk narratives.
• Executive presence and credibility with senior stakeholders to influence decisions and secure ownership.
• Track record of leading teams through transformation, operating model change, process enhancement, and large-scale remediation programmes.
