Specialist - F&A - AP 4A

Overview

Specialist role in Finance and Accounting (Accounts Payable) at Genpact, responsible for processing and verifying invoices and maintaining accounts payable records.

What you'll do

• Calculate and post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records.
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO.
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
• Ensure quality of AP processes, and handle all non-compliant and non-standard processes within the country.
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices, including calculating and taking discounts when applicable.
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers.
• Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement AP improvements.
• Perform vendor reconciliation and manage the vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, vendor advances, etc.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or Master's in Finance.
• Required skills: Accounting, Accounts Payable Process, Invoice Payments, Monthly Close Process, Reconciliations, Vendor Management.
• English language proficiency at Advanced level (C1) (Required).

Nice to have

• Accounts Payable Certification, Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
