Specialist - F&A - AP 4A

Overview

Process accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate financial records, including invoice processing, reconciliations, vendor payments and AP process improvements.

What you'll do

• Calculate and post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data for maintaining accounts payable records.
• Process PO and non-PO invoices.
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
• Ensure quality of AP processes and handle non-compliant and non-standard processes within the country.
• Verify and calculate invoice extensions and totals, including calculating and taking discounts when applicable.
• Check vendor files for previous payments and assign voucher numbers.
• Prepare vouchers listing the invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement AP improvements.
• Perform vendor reconciliation and manage the vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations and vendor advances.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's degree in Finance.
• Proficiency in English at C2 level.
• Skills in Accounting, Account Maintenance, Accounts Payable Process, Automation Technology, Banking Capital Markets, Change Management, Cora APFlow, Customer Analytics, Customer Experience (CX), Data Analytics, Data Literacy, Data Reporting, Data Visualization, Financial Analysis Reporting, Generative AI, Help Desk Support, Invoice Payments, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Monthly Close Process, Online Transaction Processing (OLTP), Oracle Database, Process Standardization, Query Resolution and Reconciliations.
