Specialist - F&A - AP 4A

Overview

Accounts payable specialist role in Genpact's Finance and Accounting (F&A) AP team, handling invoice processing, vendor payments and reconciliations.

What you'll do

• Calculate and post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling all non-compliant and non-standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices, calculating and taking discounts when applicable
• Check vendor files for previous payments and assign voucher numbers; prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures
• Identify and implement AP improvements
• Perform vendor reconciliation and manage the vendor payment cycle, GRIR reconciliations, vendor advances and similar items

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or Master's in Finance
• Required skills include accounting, account maintenance, accounts payable process, invoice payments, reconciliations, monthly close process, financial analysis reporting, data reporting and data visualization
• Working knowledge of Cora AP, Oracle Database, Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and online transaction processing (OLTP)
• English language proficiency at C2 (proficient)
