Specialist HR

Overview

Workday Functional Lead/Analyst focused on Workday integrations with supplemental applications, with knowledge of Core HCM functional areas.

What you'll do

• Understand business requirements, configure the Workday solution, and demonstrate configurations through prototype builds.
• Assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
• Schedule integrations and monitor to ensure they run when scheduled.
• Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts to ensure clear lines of communication and project alignment.
• Direct efforts to improve and implement system integrations between Workday and internal applications.
• Test new system features and feature releases and evaluate their impact on integrations and reports.
• Prepare application administration documents, end-user documentation, and/or application training for end-users.
• Utilize the change management process to ensure modifications or upgrades are authorized, tested when applicable, approved, and implemented appropriately.
• Work closely with colleagues in the HRIS team to support testing of internal changes and Workday releases.
• Provide the highest level of customer support via the internal ticketing system and all other standard forms of communication and interaction.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of relevant experience with Workday Studio.
• Experience integrating Workday with payroll, benefit and background verification vendors.
• 7+ years of relevant experience with integration technologies such as Web Services, XML, XSLT, SOAP and Java.
• Relevant experience with HR systems and solutions such as Workday HCM, PeopleSoft HRMS or SAP HCM.
• Relevant experience with requirements documentation, including ability to provide feedback on design of processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and/or project methodology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to communicate effectively with stakeholders from project team members to senior management.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Workday certification in Integrations.
