Specialist - Insurance Operation

Overview

Specialist role in insurance operations at Marsh McLennan, Gurugram (Grade C1), covering complex and diverse insurance handling work, with responsibility for building and launching client apps on the iNGAGED platform.

What you'll do

• Create, build and launch client apps using the iNGAGED platform, including setting up new client applications.
• Configure menus and pages, add and manage content modules, maintain assets and apply themes so the app is ready for launch.
• Review page properties and analytics, coordinate required content, and support post-launch engagement to ensure a successful client app experience.
• Contribute to achieving Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business objectives.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain performance standards.
• Update reports based on predefined templates on a regular basis to ensure accurate entry.
• Maintain a basic understanding of the core aspects of relevant insurance and related legislation.
• Complete all training-related activities when assigned, within the stipulated time.
• Ensure production and quality targets are met in training and in BAU (post training).
• Communicate status of work and any issues to team managers and the manager on time.
• Ensure statutory regulations and company procedures are followed, proactively comply with the regulatory and risk framework, and identify and evaluate risks appropriately.
• Review insurance policies, ranging from as few as 10 to over 1,000.

What you'll need

• Graduate in any stream.
• Fair understanding of Insurance Broking business and dynamics.
• Good command over spoken and written English.
• Superior comprehension and articulation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks and work within stiff timelines.
• Eye for detail and innovative mindset.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.

Nice to have

• Insurance certification from The Institutes, USA.
• Post-graduation or certificate courses in insurance.
• Any prior experience on any insurance process.
• Good understanding of Property & Casualty experience and policy checking/review experience.

Details

• Location: Gurugram, DLF Building.
• Work mode: hybrid, with at least three days per week in the local office or working onsite with clients.
• Shifts: 5.30pm to 2.30am; the hiring manager and HR will confirm the shift for the team.
• Schedule adherence is a must; no unplanned leaves.
• Holidays as per location, subject to business requirements.
• Shared transport provided if the address falls in an accepted service zone.
• Role may not be limited to the listed requirements.
