What you'll do

• Develop data platform features for advanced business intelligence and analytics.
• Design robust, scalable microservices-based applications for scientific data workflows.
• Implement scalable AWS cloud hosted/cloud native client-server applications.
• Integrate algorithms, scientific workflows, and machine-learning tools.
• Build REST and GraphQL API-driven modular development and integrate vendor/in-house platforms.
• Develop and execute resource-intensive jobs on high-performance compute environments.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of backend/middle-layer development using Python or Java/Spring.
• 3+ years with AWS services including EC2/RDS/S3/Batch.
• 2+ years implementing ETL data analysis and processing workflows.
• 3+ years implementing/optimizing/normalizing data models with relational databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL) and non-relational sources (e.g., ElasticSearch).
• Familiarity with standard software development and DevOps practices.
• Ability to function and collaborate effectively in a highly multi-disciplinary environment.
