Sr Account Executive

Overview

Backbase is hiring a Senior Account Executive for its APAC sales team to carry a quota and win net-new digital banking transformation deals with financial institutions.

What you'll do

• Identify and close opportunities primarily with net-new customer accounts, with secondary opportunity to expand existing customer relationships.
• Manage and close large software agreements ($1M+ ARR).
• Forecast and manage net-new opportunities from identification to close.
• Lead customers toward value-focused digital banking strategies.
• Establish a trusted advisor role with banking and financial institution customers.
• Aggregate and collect requirements from customers and craft the business case for investments in digital banking transformation.
• Build close relationships with customers to understand their business drivers and establish buy-in at all levels (sales management, delivery leads and senior/executive management).
• Identify and qualify new enterprise software sales opportunities with Banking and Financial Service customers and effectively run a sales cycle to reach and exceed goals.
• Support Backbase's goal of building digital banking leadership.
• Perform other activities as required to fulfill business objectives.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8-10+ years of experience in a quota carrying role.
• 5+ years of experience in digital banking.
• Track record of exceeding quota.
• Ability to reverse engineer business objectives to reach your goals.
• Eagerness to figure out tough problems for your customers.

Details

• Location: Hyderabad.
• Reports directly to the Regional Vice President of Sales.
• Carries own sales quota within the APAC sales team.
