Sr. Application Engineer

Overview

Support pre-sales and post-sales activities as a Senior Application Engineer by providing technical expertise on piping products and solutions. Partner with sales teams, customers, consultants, distributors, and internal teams to develop accurate engineered solutions and support project execution.

What you'll do

• Provide technical guidance on product selection and application engineering.
• Prepare technical offers, sizing, and configurations for valves, pipes, fittings, and systems.
• Generate Bills of Materials from P&IDs, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.
• Coordinate prefabrication and customized assemblies with production and customization teams.
• Create plant layout concepts and project-specific technical documents.
• Provide technical support during project execution, including site visits.
• Track materials against BOQs and identify and mitigate project risks with the supply chain team.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in application engineering, proposals, piping systems, industrial equipment, or technical customer support.
• B.E. or B.Tech. in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or a related engineering field.
• Strong understanding of piping systems, thermoplastics, industrial valves, P&IDs, and engineering drawings.
• Experience with CAD tools and ERP systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English and willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or specialization in piping or industrial engineering.
• Knowledge of regional languages.
